Upcoming touring (2006)

What a day! I started checking the Granada website last night just after midnight ... just in case. But nothing.

Today, I had to drive to College Station to help my daughter move in the apartment (she's a senior at A&M). But, before I left the house, I kept checking the Granada website ... 10:00 ... 11:00 ... noon ... still no link to tickets. So, I left for College Station.

Well, during the afternoon, one of the girls in the apartment got her computer's internet connection working (a wireless "piggy back" on someone else's network :roll: ) and I borrowed it to check the Granada website again. This time, the link was there!

Got my tickets in section 201 :!: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

P.S. - forgot to say that, like several others had mentioned, I did call CD World in Dallas and was told the same thing - that Frank's concert was not yet in the computer.

Well, I kept calling the Granada and getting that recording and then, while sitting in Whataburger waiting for my order just before 1:00 pm, I finally got an answer. Didn't get the name of the guy who answered the phone but he did say that he had been out of town for 2 weeks and had just got back. He, too, was in the dark as to why the tickets were not on sale because he thought they were supposed to be available online at 10:00 Saturday morning. He said to just keep checking the website, which I finally did when I got to College Station and had access to the internet - some time between 3:00 and 4:00 Saturday afternoon.

Also, forgot to mention that I have my tix for the Robin Trower concert at the same venue on Sept. 27th. Anyone going to that?

Well I was gone from 1:30 til almost 9 tonite at DimeFest 2006(Tribute show for Darrell Abbott) in Ft Worth and just figured the tickets were not going on sale till later.Well thank goodness I just checked before going to bed because there was only 2 seats left in section 201 and I got one of them. :clap

I'm still waiting to hear on a job in California early next week,so i may have to fly back for the Dallas show if these people decide to give me the money I asked for.If Not I will have to fly out to Cali because I have a ticket for the Santa Cruz show also.

I know what your saying about the music industry it has really feel apart in my eyes over the years along with radio,which radio has never been my source of music anyway.They are way to limited on what they play.

People like Frank and Y&T would rather do there own thing instead of dealing with a label.There's pros and cons to both directions when artist choose this path but oh well.

One way or another I will see some of ya'll at the Santa Cruz and Dallas show.

I will be seeing Y&T in Santa Cruz in 2 weeks. :headbanger

Hey all. I am in section 201, seat A-10. I'll be the one with a grin ear to ear and a black 'Mahogany Rush - Live' t-shirt on (Thank you Holly were ever you are.) I was lucky as hell as I think the tickets went on sale finally on-line around 2 PM Saturday. It was weird I had a feeling to go my computer and check; lo and behold there they were. 201 - seat A-10 is the second row 4th from the right. Look for me guys, it's a PARTY!!!! Let's give Frank and Co. a long overdue welcome to Texas!

My daughter and I will be in 201, B8 and C8 at the Granada. I've never been to this venue but, hopefully, we'll either be sitting next to each other or one in front of the other. :roll:
