Frank and the Boy's did a blistering 3+hr show and took the roof off the place, it was a late night due to an extended meet & greet as it was the last show.
I didn't take any pics as I ended up doing the light show for them...sorry. I hope someone else will post some.
Frank wore a Red Shirt this time Willy!!!

The set rocked, better than Southampton, more stompin'. The boys really seemed to be enjoying themselves - maybe the thought of going home. The interplay between Frank and Avi was sensational, I think Avi played the violin more tonite than Thursday. Frank seemd to be right in the zone, he seemed to play things differently than last time I saw him, which was only last week; more rockin', more intense, more extreme, better!! I am sure I saw Frank crying during World Anthem, of could have just been sweat running down his face.

The crowd was a little sparse, but good reaction, seemd to know too much of the stuff, great to see so many new and old tour t-shirts in evidence.

Just wanted to say what a great gig on sunday night at the Queens hall,
I wore my port vale tee shirt from 24 years ago and met some great people who had been there when i first saw Frank all those years ago.
The great man played an awesome 3 hour set which seemed to fly by.
Hats off to the other band members they really seem to enjoy their work!
Avi playing the violin was amazing to watch, hope he continues to play in the group.
Thanks again Frank, hope you come back soon.

I'm sorry folks, but I was at this gig and, try as I might, I couldn't hear anything decent after the first couple of numbers.

It was just too fucking loud.

I really tried to appreciate it but the distortion was unbelieveable.

Eventually I went and stood in front of the sound guy and it was just as bad.

Clearly the band were playing their balls off but everything was louder than everything else.

£20 and I was really disappointed.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. You must have been as nonplussed as me.

I HATE when shows are too loud. It is ridiculous sometimes. Sound guys usually don't mix the room when its full and only know where the volume knob is. Kinda like cooking at a higher temperature to cook faster, it ruins it. Most of all, the worst thing is that it reflects directly to the band and not the sound guy. Bringing a sound guy on the road is essential, but not always affordable.

I always wear ear plugs at concerts because they actually sub for a bad mix. All levels are deadened, but none over powers the other. There are good ear plugs out there that don't act like a wad of bar napkin.

I have worn ear plugs at concerts ever since the late seventies and although you may be viewed as a wuss, your ears will not get ruined and you can enjoy the show as well as a nights sleep without the ringing. Plus, you can call those other people assholes and they won't even hear you!

Well said, Willy. I agree. An incompetent sound guy can turn a great performance into a disaster. :x

I guess you didn't have ear plugs ?

As just incase...

After a couple of horrible experiences I always carry a pair of plugs with me. And I always wish that I wouldn't have to use them, but pretty often I just have to. I wonder if some of the mixers are deaf already...
