I listened to part of "Full Circle" on the way home from the post office. Sounds fantastic.
I opted not to get these signed because I already got a signed copy of "Real Live!" and what I really wanted was a guitar pick - because I live in Asia and don't have any opportuities to see Frank perform. I said only include it if it's not an inconvenience.
Well, as you can see from the picture I took of the "From the Hip" CD - Frank came through with my request. You will not find anyone who appreciates his fans more than Frank!
"My Life Has Had Its Ups And Downs, The Same As Everyone. But This Time The Ups Ain't Comin' 'Round, And I've Been Waiting So Long"... "In My Ways" by Frank Marino, "World Anthem" LP.
No Frank, the new sound has nothing to do with why you like "Full Circle" (you said you forgot how much you liked it). You like it because it's a GREAT album, although not as well known as your older ones. The title track is totally awesome. Very intense and dramatic.
I remember listening to one of my Best of Frank mixes after 9/11 and crying while listening to "Long Ago". The lyrics seemed to apply to how I (and many others) felt about what had just happened. Maybe one day you can play a song or two from that album in concert.
Take care.

Thank you Frank. Your music has brought me to places where I love to be.
the only CD I'm missing is 'Maxoom'...
any chance that will be released on disc?
(or is it already?)
They did come out with the first 3 Mahogany Rush lp's on 2 disc's.
You can look for them. They did a good clean job. But they are not re-mastered like they claim to be.

Frank told me when I did the interview with him back in October that JustinTime records purchased the masters to Frank's first 3 albums, so Frank can properly remix and remaster them...
Maybe we can get Graeme, Willy or Frank to verify this?

Scary to think what could happen to such wonderful works of art.
Careful with that axe, Eugen!!
