Okay here’s the goal!!
I’m going to head out to Southern California in October (going to order a plane ticket today)
From the 14th ‘till the 22nd. Visit family and friends also see a cool concert. Calling my brother to make sure he gets our ticket!!
Working with Speedking about heading down to Dallas for the show on the 26th!!
Maybe we’ll get to see the great Hamacurt?
Ain’t life grand when you’re single, huh? Huh??
Keep it real people, keep it real.

Hey JJ
If your looking to attend the Galaxy show I'd be happy to get the tickets for you if your brother can't.

Going to call my brother today and make sure he got the tickets fast. At least before his first bong toke.

Or do we just say we know Wild Willy Parsons?

Yes its general addmission. The trick is to get dinner reservations. The doors open at 6:00pm for those with dinner res. So typically you get better seating. I believe there is a two drink minimum dinners run $10-$20.00 food is not bad just pricey! Its a pretty good place to a see a show and friends who have played there say its good from a performers standpoint. I went all out for this show, I've talked about Frank for years so I sprung for a vip room upstairs and am treating my friends to the show ,they have to buy thier own dinner tho
There does't appear to be a opening band, GOOD! all Frank all night. I'm so looking forward to seeing Frank again. Any help neede by you or other Marinoheads don't hesitate to ask. Hopefully we'll all get to meet!!

Re: re: Upcoming touring (2006)
The lack of real marketing kind of bothers me. I really believe that if there was any kind of commercial promotion that Frank would sell out everywhere he goes. I am lucky enough to live in a place where Frank has played everytime he has toured since his return to the biz 6+ years ago.TrumpetsandViolins wrote:As of today it looks like the Dallas show is about half full. Not bad since it's 2 months away and there's no real marketing yet. Get 'em while you can!
There is never any promotion, we as fans can bust out butt spreading the word but there needs to be more. I am really hoping that the new agency will push a little harder for him , hell I am not even sure if it's their job, maybe they just get him the gigs, but they would fill these places if they got the word out, like on the radio.
Last year when he played 2 nights in Chicagoland the first night was sold out, they were actually turning people away. But the next night there were only about 200 people there. There are 10 million people in the Chicago area, he could have sold out both shows easily, if there were any promotion at all.
He is at the HOB this time (where he belongs) , so far all I have seen is a one sentence note in the Chicago Sun-Times, in their concert line column.
And that was when the tickets first went on sale, nothing at all since.
Like I say, I hope he gets some better commercial promotion, Frank is a huge talent, and many people know this, not just us who frequent this site.

Thinking about hitting the Potawatomi Casino show since it's on a Friday. Tickets go on sale Sep. 1st..$20 bucks. HOB is closer but I have to miss a day of work either way so I'd rather make it a 3 day weekend.

[quote="Wild Willy"]Sorry, no Detroit. I am pretty sure that the dates are final and "shouldn't be any more added due to routing. Remember, Frank and crew are driving everywhere, which means long shows then long drives. No sleep till Hammersmith!!! Frank is a machine, so don't worry about lackluster performances. Here is the "final" list of dates. They could add a couple shows, but I doubt it.
[/ Hquote]Hey Frank ! Thats a long ride from cleveland to Chitown!!!!. Stop in a tmy house for a break in Detroit onyour way! Relax a bit .large house with inground pool ,good eats, fun,did I say good eats!!!. It is wierd not to see Detroit on your tour list ,especially since you have always come to your home away from home. Cobo Hall,Royal Oak Music Theater,Harpos,St. Andrews Hall, Magic Bag.......And if I recall where Maxoom lp was recorded. I checked Magic Bags calender for the 11th and nothings booked for that date,so if you can't play here that night, my door is open to you ,family .band. and troupe! Did I tell you about how great of a chef I am.!!!

re: Upcoming touring (2006)
I hear ya BEGOOD, I was disappointed that there was not a Detroit date. I mean Frank always comes to Detroit doesn't he?? :?: :?:
